Lumileds

Lumileds

Lumileds had a new corporate initiative and wanted to run an awareness campaign on collaborative efforts towards a green and sustainable workplace. For this campaign, BlueCube Media was engaged to create a 2D animation to introduce the initiative, as well as to encourage employees to participate.
For this project, a mascot was created to introduce the initiation. Named after an actual staff member of Lumileds, Ivy was the main protagonist of the video. She explains the importance and benefits of recycling, and also shows her colleagues how it is easy to contribute to this social movement in a few practical steps.
Another interesting point in this video was the scene of a canteen. The illustration for the canteen was actually done with close reference to the Lumiled’s very own office space. It was incorporated into the video to simulate a familiar environment so as to establish a sense of familiarity with the viewers. By providing various scenarios in a common environment, such as the office’s canteen, the intent was to encourage employees to take action and participate in this cause. Read More »

Concept Idea for Branding, Features & UI/UX Improvements in Tittle V5.0

Concept Idea for Branding, Features & UI/UX Improvements in Tittle V5.0

For the upcoming release of Tittle version 5.0, we are working on a fresh look with changes to the theme colours. With the current version (4.0), dark blue is mainly used. In the next release, we are aiming to adopt a lighter shade of blue with a greenish gradient. This is done in hopes of bringing out elements of “lifestyle” behind Tittle.
In version 5.0, users can look forward to a user interface face-lift as well; more white spaces will be employed to improve readability and in turn, give the app a cleaner and organised look. The design objectives proposed for version 5.0 hope to complement and encourage user engagement on a personable level, which we will go into more detail below.
Besides visual changes to Tittle, we intend to introduce 2 new features to the mobile application.
First, a “family” module is in the pipeline. Similar to a journal, parents will be able to log their babies’ growth or milestones such as learning to stand, crawl or walk. Parents will also be able to record their children’s mood, sleep patterns, poop, and even attach photos or videos into this mobile journal.
The second feature, which we are looking into, is the “education” module. This feature promotes fun learning with the use of mobile technology. With flash cards stored in the application, this makes learning simple and interesting as our mobile technology is portable, quick and interactive. In version 5.0, we hope to actively promote the lifestyle of Tittle where parents can play active roles in their children’s upbringing, be it the opportunity for bonding, education or even a casual form of capturing and recording unforgettable memories or interactions with their children. Product Brochure for Canon ImageRunner 2206N, 2006N and 2206

Product Brochure for Canon ImageRunner 2206N, 2006N and 2206

In preparation for a new product launch, our team was tasked to create a product brochure targeted at small and medium enterprises (SMEs). While brainstorming for an impactful cover tagline, we considered the three unique selling points (USPs) of the printer – secure, fast and affordable. As we wrote with SME professionals in mind, our intent was to have the target audience pick up the main advantages of the product at a glance. In the three options we provided, we took varying approaches to convey the USPs.
* A Ping for a Print – Connect, Secure, Fast & Affordable
o For professionals who are tech-savvy, we felt the word “ping” would resonate well with the hidden nuance of a fast connection. For readers who may find this ambiguous, we made sure to clarify by clearly indicating the main selling points of the officer printer solutions.
* Get the Job Done Faster & Focus on What Matters
o In this option, we wanted to bring across the importance of work efficiency; hence, we mentioned the printers’ capability of being able to print fast so businesses can truly focus on other aspects of their daily tasks that matter.
* Ready for Business. Print Fast, Print Safe.
o The final option shows product strength and aims to build assurance. The idea is simple. We wanted readers to know that the printers are ready to take on business requirements at fast speed but also in a safe environment.
In terms of design, we kept the overall layout simple, clean and professional. As the brochures are meant for SME professionals, we made sure information presented were specific and laid out the information distinctively to showcase the element of variety, as well as elite performance. Read More »
